Wemade, a Singapore-based company, and Whampoa Digital, a leading Korean gaming company, have forged a strategic alliance to work together on digital asset projects in the Middle East and on a US$100 million Web3 Fund that Wemade will establish.
Whampoa Digital will collaborate with Wemade to establish the WEMIX PLAY Center at the DIFC Innovation Hub, and it will also serve as an ecosystem partner for the Wemade Web3 Fund. Particularly in the Web3 sector, both parties will engage in mutual transaction and project referrals, and they may even co-invest in ventures that show promise. Whampoa Digital and Wemade have inked a non-binding memorandum whereby they will utilize each other’s technological and operational expertise to jointly create blockchain solutions and infrastructure for the gaming and Web3 sectors. To encourage the smooth global adoption of digital assets, the created solutions will be implemented and integrated with financial institutions that serve these businesses. Source: Crypto Times
