Playknot, Sniffout Demo UEFN for Metaverse Game Development

Playknot, Inc., which provides development and consulting related to XR, and SniffOut, Inc., a generative AI venture from the University of Tokyo, are conducting demonstration experiments on game development using generative AI such as ChatGPT and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). announced.
 
In October of this year, the two companies announced a business alliance to provide solutions that utilize the latest technologies in adjacent fields such as XR/Metaverse and generative AI. This project was started as part of research into the use of generative AI.
 
In this demonstration experiment, we will use generation AI to automatically generate content such as game scenarios, characters, and backgrounds, and use UEFN to combine them to create a game, which will create a more efficient and creative game than traditional methods. We are verifying whether development is possible.
 
The games created in this demonstration experiment will be published within Fortnite, and players will be able to access them from Fortnite's creative mode.
