K-CULTURE Festival Dubai 2024, which will open the era of AI fashion by combining artificial intelligence and blockchain technology through Korean fashion, opened in Dubai, a financial hub in the Middle East, on the 12th.
The festival, held at the Arjaan Bai Rotani Hotel in Dubai's Media City at 5 p.m. (local time), was attended by a large number of high-ranking officials, cultural and business leaders, including Princess Seika Mara of Dubai, expressing great interest in Korean culture and technology. On stage directed by designer Hong Eun-joo, who gained international fame in Paris, France, models from each country joined and applauded generously whenever fashion works that met the East and the West were unfolded. In particular, participants praised the improved hanbok made by Hwang Yi-seul, CEO of Lisle Hanbok, in consideration of Middle Eastern clothing culture and clothing habits, and predicted that hanbok will become a place in the lives of Middle Easterners based on the K-pop craze. The World Start Forum, which prepared the event, is drawing more attention as it will not only expand the scope of creative works by combining artificial intelligence and blockchain technology with Korean fashion works, but also connect them to a business platform that opens the Web 3.0 era.
