ZTE Corporation, a global leading provider of information and communication technology solutions, in partnership with China Mobile's Tianjin Branch, has completed industry's first digital twin-based precise network planning for high-speed rail.
The solution supports more accurate visual network planning through higher precision twinning modeling, and uses twin simulation optimization, greatly reducing repetitive site surveys in the engineering optimization phase. This is an innovative exploration for 6G network planning. In contrast to the traditional high-speed railway network planning solution, which often suffers from issues such as insufficient precision, poor perception, repeated optimization, and low efficiency, the innovative solution has revolutionized the construction and optimization of the 5G 700M private network for high-speed railways. The solution integrates various wireless network digital twin functions into micro services, each with specialized capabilities. The precision network planning for high-speed railways revolves around two primary twin models: site twinning and channel twinning. Site twinning engages micro services like data collection and model generation to ensure the creation of a high-quality network. Channel twinning, on the other hand, utilizes micro services encompassing model generation, simulation, visualization, and strategy optimization, enabling more accurate and efficient network planning.
