Hoping to attract over 30,000 guests, Hong Kong’s debut ComplexCon — a two-day pop culture phenomenon bringing together music, fashion, art, and tech — is prime time for brands to experiment with digital fashion.
China’s fashion set has seized the opportunity. As part of a pop-up hosted by virtual fashion initiative FabriX, 11 rising creatives will digitize their iconic fashion collections in partnership with Web3 wearables wardrobe, DressX. From March 22–24, visitors at ComplexCon will be able to try on different creations from their favorite Chinese designers, including Chen Peng, Windowsen, Susan Fang, Celine Kwan, Mark Gong, and Feng Chen Wang. International designers, including Spanish label Abra and Swiss designer Germanier, will also be in attendance, as well as Christian Stone, a visionary known for creating physical garments inspired by video game skins. Through its virtual try-on pop-up, FabriX, a Hong Kong-founded digital fashion initiative launched in 2022, is making a name for itself at some of the globe’s biggest fashion events.
