Animoca Brands, the Hong Kong-based company advancing digital property rights for gaming and the open metaverse, has on Tuesday announced a strategic partnership with LightLink, an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain, to enhance Web3 gaming experiences with gasless on-chain transactions.
Under the strategic partnership, Animoca Brands will seek to integrate LightLink’s Ethereum Layer 2 technology into selected Animoca Brands projects and provide advisory services for LightLink’s tokenomics and go-to-market strategies, Animoca Brands said in a statement. According to the statement, LightLink allows businesses to subscribe their applications to operate gas-free, enabling users to participate in a public blockchain ecosystem without owning any tokens or having to pay any gas fees.
